12k from the summit of Mt. Everest sits Mera Peak. Mera is considered the easiest of the climbing peaks in Nepal. But it's also very high at 21,825 ft. Nothing at that height is really easy. No technical mountaineering skills are needed. Time will be allowed to work with the group on glacier travel. The trek into the remote Hinku valley will test your fitness. This is a full camping trip with mountaineering tents provided along with food and everything else you'll need. Porters will carry your gear, you'll just carry your backpack.

Situated at the end of the Imja Khola, Island Peak stands alone in the shadow of Lhotse and Nuptse. The climbing of Island Peak is considered somewhat technical because of the exposure, and basic mountaineering skills are needed. You will be roped up for the entire climb and instruction will be given before the climb starts.

India's northern region Ladakh is called "Little Tibet" because of the landscape and local Tibetan culture. Our trek will explore the Markha Valley with its narrow gorges and high passes. We'll be camping the entire trek with everything included. If you'd like to join us but aren't sure of the long hikes each day, a horse can be rented for you to ride (for a fee).

Africa 17 Days

Moderate to Strenuous
This trip has been set up with comfort and success in mind. Instead of flying in and then heading off to climb Kili, we stay 3 nights at the eco-friendly Karama Lodge. Two days of wild game excursions will start from our lodge. After you're recovered from jet lag, we head off to hike one of the least used trails on Mt. Kili. Unlike many companies, we don't hurry up Kili but instead take 9 days to complete our journey. Instead of running down from the summit, we'll camp a few hours down the trail after summiting, so that you're not too tired. After the climb, we head off for 5 days for a walking safari, taking in the best of what Tanzania has to offer.
